Dogmatic masculine/feminine polarity teachings will have you believe that women are to be soft, open and receptive 24/7. And if we're not, we're doing something wrong and are shamed for it.
This is literally the message that women are getting, I hear it time and time again from my clients.
If you are teaching women to do this, please pause and listen.
We are in the midst of a spiritual war right now. Women who are trained to be soft, docile, and passive creatures will not make it through.
This does not mean that women cannot carry soft, tender, open hearted parts of us and have them exist within the totality of our being.
What it does mean is that we need to be full spectrum right now:
1). Understanding the FULL feminine expression, not just what is palatable (listen to my podcast episode on this topic with Ashly Rose Wolf @femme.rising on this).
2). Understanding that the path to evolution is Inner Union, which means that all of us strive to integrate both our healthy feminine + healthy masculine.
Carl Jung refers to this as Anima/Animus integration.
When you stay stuck in 100% masculine or 100% feminine all the time, you are stunting your own spiritual development.
Yes, you can (and should) develop Inner Union through Outer Union (with a partner), but watch out for polarity teachings that advocate fixed roles and don't take you to Step 2.
3). Understanding Energetic Agility, the ability to call forth different parts of us when need be, for the highest good of the moment, whether those parts are masculine or feminine.
Women + Men need to stand side by side right now as power couples, true partners in this time of spiritual warfare.
At the same time, they know how to work with polarity consciously to have the fire lit - when it’s time to do so. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need polarity on 24/7. If you try, it can burn the relationship down.
Those of us who carry the warrior archetype will be at the frontlines. Others will be working behind the scenes to support, all part of a unified system.
This is True Polarity - the only way I teach it.
