Was a huge slap in the face for me too. It is tough at times. Consistency is key. so much overlap between parenting and relationships in terms of managing support and holding people accountable. The boundaries we set are so important, but often difficult to decide where to draw those lines.
Totally, it’s such a fine line on a day to day basis, and I’ve wobbled quite a bit on my parenting journey. But overall now at his age we’re starting to have real conversations about why and he’s getting it.
